Truffles?......................?
I was just wondering if anyone knew much about truffles e.g. edible sorts and where to find them (i was thinking of going into the woods near me with one of my pigs and having a look for some)

Truffles are found in the temperate forests or Europe and North America. Since you live in England, in what I gather is a foresty area, there are probably truffles out there. However, truffle pigs are trained like seeing-eye dogs; for very specific purposes. You could give it a try, but truffles are hard to distinguish from plain ol' dirt. Happy hunting!
And another thing, I just read that truffles often are near beech, poplar, oak, birch, hornbeam, hazel, and pine trees. Thanks Wikipedia!
