lawrence lessig Will be On The Daily Show 2011

Larry Lessig is talking about what Anna Hazare is talking in India about corrupting influence of income on politics & corruption. I feel everyone should enjoy this video for the corrupting influence of money on government and insurance plan makers. It is just as applicable to India as to America or even US or USA.

Larry Lessig has a new book called Republic, Misplaced which discusses your corrupting influence of money on politics. I would suggest this book, given it gets to the heart regarding why things a lot of things in California, D.C. seem broken today and ways to fix them, along with similary in India.

Lessig examines the concept of a authorities responsible to the PEOPLE, because Constitution calls for, and just how the current system regarding campaign finance features warped it a great deal toward being a authorities responsible to the Members that even the Top court used those words and phrases (in the infamous Residents United corporation-as-a-person decision).
Lawrence Lessig may be the director of the Edmond J. Safra Foundation Center for Ethics at Harvard College, and a professor associated with law at Harvard Law School. Previously, he was a professor regarding law at Stanford Legislation School (where he founded Stanford’s Center pertaining to Internet and Culture) and the University associated with Chicago Law University. Lessig clerked for Judge Rich Posner on the Seventh Routine Court of Appeals and Justice Antonin Scalia about the U.S. Supreme Court.

Lessig is the author of five books on the legislation and technology, which include Remix, Code 2.Zero, Free Culture, The Future of Ideas, and Rule and Other Laws regarding Cyberspace, and has served as lead advice in a number of important instances marking the restrictions of copyright regulation in a digital age, including Eldred v. Ashcroft as well as Golan v. Holder.
